106+ peer-reviewed publications. Doctoral research at Maastricht University. Spanning medical education, AI in healthcare, curriculum reform, and the science of assessment.
Health professions education is not a soft discipline. It requires the same empirical rigour as clinical medicine — validated instruments, systematic reviews, experimental designs, and international peer review. My research reflects this standard.
My primary scholarly interests span three interconnected domains: curriculum quality and viability, the science of assessment in health professions education, and the emerging role of artificial intelligence in clinical training and decision-making. Across 106+ peer-reviewed publications, I have developed and validated measurement tools now used across Pakistani and regional institutions, contributed to international consensus on curriculum standards, and led the scholarly conversation on AI's implications for undergraduate medical education.
A landmark publication examining how artificial intelligence is reshaping clinical practice, medical education, and health professions training. Written for practising clinicians, educators, and students navigating a technology-shaped professional landscape.
Launched at the ICME-IMEC Joint Conference, Kuala Lumpur, 2025 — presented to international delegates including senior figures from AMEE, IMU Malaysia, Newcastle University, and health professions education leaders from across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
